Every now and then, I'll be posting an example of my progress as an artist.This badge, I think, demonstrates it very well. It's a pierced badge for Likeshine!
Yes, those are real metal hoops in her ears. :3 Done with Copic and Prisma markers almost entirely, with a blacklight-sensitive plastic charm.

Beautifully done. I love the expression and the ears. She looks like she just got away with a practical joke and is waiting for you to laugh too. Beautifully colored to, it's so vibrantly green without being overdone. And awesome originality with the real metal hoops. Wonderful piece!

It's really great to see badges that go against the norm of pure-rectangle-headshot, and this is just really something different.
The drawing of Likeshine itself has such a brilliant 3D quality to it. Top rendition of the character, and great drawing in general.
The addition of metal hoops for piercings is something I've not seen before, and must try out for myself one of these days! It adds just... so much more to the picture.
The metal chain attached to the charm is also a wonderous addition. Really nicely done, this :3
