Forgot to upload this one here! An older commission I did for for his H-Game Renryuu:Ascension. He wanted a character reference for this tsundere Vampire girl whose name I do not know xD There is a full resolution and nude alternate version on my Patreon if you're interested ^^It was really fun to shade the metal bits of her armor, I want to practice it some more. Well shaded armor and metal is something I admire a lot!

like a vampire

the idea of vampires have changed so much over the years
some being pale white, some even being redish purple in skin colour
the designs of nowadays though all seem to getting more "fitting in" kind of style, and i think that in some myths the vampire looks identacle to a normal person as long as it is fed
so if a vampire looks less like a vampire, that just makes it easier to hunt

dude in some vampire depictions they look like blind goblin men who have mouths instead of faces, i feel like the sky is the limit with the depictions you go with
besides depictions of creatures are always different, look at the dragon for example, in the west it is a winged fire breathing reptile that is a symbol of destruction and greed, but in the east they are water spirits who are much more serpentine in there design symbolizing long life and good luck
both dragons, but both drastically different designs
if she looks pretty normal then that is alright
(besides she isn't showing her teeth so you can't prove she isn't a vamp)

i thought what made your skin a bit red was the blood itself
and besides vampires usually don;t have beating hearts so there is no blood flow meaning they would be normally pale

Yes vascular system
plays a part
But the muscle directly underlays the skin.
Its the Myoglobin that gives the muscles their redness
and the skin its pinkish hue
meaning that the color of flesh of a vampire would be
marble white.
Don't get me wrong
the work is quite nice
But my point of complaint is the
fact that it seems like a very half-assed
job. Draw something add a bit red, black and silver
and you got a "Vampire"

is basically hemoglobin with less capacity for oxygen
the prime reason of its large accumulations
