Whilst sitting with a case of the snuffles I pondered what to make for a friend of mine, it had to be unusual and quirky. Looking around my room for inspiration, by giant fuzzy microbes caught my eye.

What better gift for christmas than the common cold? I've given lots of people my cold already (six to date) so why not the fluffy kind?

I gave this pressie away early, in the box in the picture, in a cafe, whilst talking about my dissertation which involves lots of nasty bacteria. When I noticed a pair of old ladies starting to scoot away from the box, I decided it would be a good idea to have it opened and explain the contents...

So, the common cold people! To scale even - 1:1,000,000 times!
