Page four of "Fire Nation Hahn", a comic loosely based on "Water Tribe Zhao" by , with permission.
In this story, Hahn survives his fall from the ship and is rescued by a couple of misfit Fire Navy deserters. Hahn gets a bit dramatic on this page.I'm only doing five pages of this comic for now, then I'll see how I feel... Why yes, I am obsessed! I swear, it's the Avatar withdrawal.

The two deserters are a funny team. Yi's little hello-wave in the fourth panel while his friend babbles on is too cute. Hahn will fit right in, that's sure.
Just one question: Did Lin's glasses actually fit under the skull mask or did his comrades have to turn him in the right direction (and make sure to stay behind him)?

I might have mini flashbacks about why they left the navy at some point--not sure yet--but regardless, poor Lin was unable to wear his glasses and skull mask at the same time. Which as you might guess, lead to more than one person falling victim to "friendly fire".
