A commission for , a watercolor of Crow (and a crow) from Professor Layton and the Last Specter.This was a lot of fun to work on! He was one of my favorite characters in the game.

I was definitely very excited about seeing one of my favourite characters in your style and you certainly delivered very well. He looks so content and cheerful here, though I can only imagine that he would be content in the presence of such a handsomely named bird in any case.

I liked Crow a lot when I played the game, and he was one of my favorites, too, so I had a lot of fun drawing and interpreting him. Haha, yes, I love crows, so I thought I'd include one for even more interest.
And I've been trying to practice with my shading and techniques, so I'm glad it's actually working! It's a challenge, but an enjoyable one when it's all done. It's also true, his hair is a bit tricky to draw--why are there so many characters out there with such difficult hairstyles (which often cannot be reproduced in real life)? Oh well, I love crazy hairstyles, so I can't really complain, even if they can be a pain to draw.

Crow is a really great character. Usually, being in the fandom, I tend to have a rough idea of which characters I'll like and dislike before playing the game, because it's hard to avoid spoilers, but with Crow, hardly anyone talked about him before I played that game, so it really surprised me how much I ended up loving him and his group of friends. :3
Well, I'm glad to hear that the technique practising is enjoyable at the same time. :3 As for anime hair, it really can be frustrating! But I guess we're both used to that from our time drawing YGO fan art.

Really cute :3 I havent gotten too far in Specter (DS choked during a save and corrupted the file, and I havent had the heart to start over again) but I love the Layton games.
