This is--a very silly series of doodles I drew. You see, Jesse (Johan) from Yu-Gi-Oh GX is associated with RAINBOWS, and it reminded of those 80s cartoons where the good guys fight the villains with the power of RAINBOWS or something similar. This lead me to making up Rainbow Jesse, a GX 80s cartoon. I don't even know how this happened. Now I'll go on and make a long artist's comment about these absurd concept sketches:1. Rainbow Jesse's main villain is HELL KAISER, who already has a great villain name. I confess, I did this mainly because I love Hell Kaiser Ryo.
Here Jesse is shooting a rainbow at Hell Kaiser. And Hell Kaiser is turning it to ash! I don't know how you can turn a rainbow into ash, but it works somehow.2. The good guys! Jesse and his boyfriend Jim, along with fairy sidekick Jaden and animal sidekick Tyranno. I'm sorry for making you into a dinosaur, Tyranno, I just really wanted to draw one. For some reason, I thought Jim would make a good 80s boyfriend. Maybe it's the hat, who can say?
3. The bad guys! Hell Kaiser with bumbling henchmen Chazz and Atticus.
4. More bumbling henchmen action. I really, really love bumbling henchmen.
5. Dino riding, unicorn riding, and fairy flying! Yes, maybe I ripped off the unicorn design from Rainbow Brite. Oh yes, Tyranno can change size for some reason.
6. Fairy kisses! So gratuitous.
7. Their plan will fail. I confess, I just wanted to draw fairy Jaden being menaced by Chazz.
8. SOMEONE HATES RAINBOWS.
9. Oh no, Hell Kaiser is turning Rainbow Jesse's heart to ash! Or stone. Or glass or something. I didn't work that part out.
10. I thought I should add in an intimate moment between boyfriends.
11. And finally, I am sure Hell Kaiser will turn out to have a tragic backstory and be redeemed! His bumbling henchmen will always love him, though.

Ha ha, I WISH this was the last season. I am not sure what happens in the last season, exactly, I am such a slow viewer, but perhaps it is a little like this.

"I don't know how you can turn a rainbow into ash..." Well, technically, rainbows are just distorted light shining through water and airborne dust particles, (thereby making the evil guys who get beaten by them look pretty weak)... But I guess the "dust" part could be turned to ash, effectively destroying the rainbow(maybe?)
