....It started as a random sketch, then turned to a one-shot comic.. What I love about this art is that the kiss here just means so much to me~ Like..
1. One good reason for Eddy to kiss Double D is to shut his mouth xD
2. Then it's because he loves him, and now, deep inside he appreciates the fact that Edd is always there for him, by his side, supporting every single crazy idea Eddy comes up with, even when that idea is just wrong and bad (like every time, to be exact xD). He knows Edd and understand why he's acting like that now.. Edd is just trying to balance between what his best frined-crush wants him to do and the guide to the rightness of his behavior, but Eddy usally causes him to choose the first path to walk through.
3. ....And third, because Eddy knows in the end, Edd will follow him anyway and that's what "if YOU need ME.." line means.. becauselooks like maybe Double D is the one needing Eddy after all~

Btw, pretty sure this kinda looks like a fanart of another cartoon I've seen once but.. can't remember rn..
