These are two of the feral (wild) cats who live on Parliament Hill,
Ottawa, Canada.
Photographed with love, using my film camera.
I've always believed that hardship is easier to endure when we're not alone.
One hundred percent my personal proceeds from the sale of this print (photos and art gifts) will be donated to animal aid/rescue organizations.

They are, aren't they? They've become tough-looking from living in the cold, the poor things. However, I'm sure they find happiness in each other despite their difficult lives.

Yes, the leaves were a joy! It was a beautiful, crisp fall day. I enjoyed wandering around Parliament Hill that day. There are secluded areas which many people hardly know exist. The possibilities for a photographer are endless!

I do too, especially in the winter when the temperature goes down to -20ΒΊC or even lower! I feel like I should go collect them all and let them thaw out in my living room!

Have you tried to befriend them? I love cats and dogs. Well, animals in general! They don't appear sickly. Do you feed them?

I've tried petting them, but they're too shy and run away. There are vets who have a look at them once in a while and there are kind people who feed them. I love going to visit these cats!

They have a hard life, but there are volunteers who try to help them.

Thanks, Roz! They do get fed regularly, and they have wooden boxes with straw inside so that they can get a bit of shelter.
