1.) I think it's terrific... I love the style ! 
2.) I think it would be even more terrific if the texturizing on the left side of her face wasn't there. To me, subtle as it is, I find it detracts from the impact of the fractal. But that's just me hon... sorry. Though I have to admit love it !

No, that's from =Shoofly-Stock I was trying to find a wizard but it seems everybody does females. I like working with .png files cuz they don't have any background. I used his stock for the giraffe and butterflies in my last journal.

Colors and texturing bring a nice feel of old photo,
and the overlayed fractal looks very cool, kind of reminds me of the Mehendi art. In conclusion
