For my friend and eventually others who wonder where I have been, I dived into the Mandelbrot set in order to find some fruits for you. I’ve been to busy and divided for having any inspiration to upload anything since more than a month, but now..

Ultra Fractal. No filters or postprocessing

Below the parameter file. Play and have fun

This one looks like an octopus limb. I love fractals. When art meets maths

Thank you There are a lot of octopus limbs in the fractal world Here [link] are more

BTW, maybe you would appreciate my "Chaotic series of fractal articles" [link] if you have a little theoretical interest

Regarding deep zooms in the Mandelbrot set, if you check out my deviation "Cauliflowerfort" [link] and click the link under "Artist's Comments" you can follow the entire zoom sequence in 28 steps

Thank You Emily Yet a standard motive Can you guess (see) from which region of the M set?

...what would it be?...
can you help me be able to read fractals better?

Well, then I shall not torment you more It's from the aisle (or East Valley) of the M set Compare the spirals you obtain from that area with those 1-armed spirals you obtain from the body-side of the Seahorse Vally (between the body and the head).

However further more having zoomed on to the aisle, I've continued into another Valley between a bud and the body. For that reason the patterns inside the spiral are yet more complexed. The other three motives are successive zooms in the same area..

Ah k. That makes sense!
I wouldnt have guessed all 4 pictures were realted to the same M set!

Not only from the M set (there actually is only one) but from the same area The first motive is a little bit outside (to the right) the following three

Ooh, thats a little bit tricky In the UF parameter text you can see the "center (coordinate)" and "magn(ification)" If you in Xaos under the UI menu enable "status" you can, amongst all, see the actual center coordinate.

But if you zoom in a main spirar in the Elephant Valley (the cusp) and compare it with a main spiral in the Seahorse valley, and safe the results you will see a significant difference BTW, I have two examples in my gallery,

[link] and [link]

Don't become confused by the dark and light fields, they are due to "Binary Decomposition"
