Description I found him/her last year under a large spruce tree near a local museum, while looking for poisonous mushrooms (for my collection, not for use). The twigs are from a frozen blueberry bush. I managed to find most of its missing teeth, but that other side of the lower jaw was gone. I looked everywhere.

Poor little wabbit. isn't it fun to find skulls though? I found a raccoon skull a while back and must post pix of it.

Well, that depends on the stage of decomposition and damage it has suffered a little, doesn't it? But it is interesting, even if "fun" doesn't always apply...

Indeed. The raccoon skull I found still had a little hard leathery skin dried to it. I got on line and found out that I needed to soak it in chlorine for a few days and then hydrogen peroxide for another day. It came out perfectly clean.

Ah, mine was picked completely clean by helpfull forest creatures, so I went with a bit of cleaning and a dash of glue. Outcome is not bright white, but I like things with a bit of age.

Me too. All of my other bones are aged.
This one had just a tiny bit too much gristle for my taste.
