This is beautiful! Dun get me wrong, the girl is awesome. But the background is my favorite part. The soft blue of the sky and the trees just do it for meh. The shocking hair color of the girl adds a nice touch to this piece. Great job!

i've always loved pieces like this. landscapes that a basically silhouettes that segue into darkness with
an image embedded. i did something very loosely similar once with the band soundgarden and a shot of mine.
this is ALOT better than mine however! it's excellant!
and i love the edge as well! is that some stock you got somewhere?

[I just saw Mothman's Prophecies again... but won't go into making connections that it might have with this work] frame was the 1st thing that caught my attention - it looks like gossamer. it looks like it's eventually going to cover entire picture. 2nd thing - the hair. I love it. it's the only thing 'alive' and I think it makes this work interesting. somehow... it would be dull if the entire image was nothing but bluish. anyway. nice work!

Great idea. Great background. But two problems in my eyes. 1. The hair is distracting. 2. The girl is distracting. Dont get me wrong, shes great looking and has great hair, but I dont think the two images fit well with each other... It doesnt make much sense to me why she is there. I think it might even be better without the girl at all. Or maybe make her smaller? I do realyl love the initial scene though, I must say.

i wasn't sure if i should leave the hair so red, but didn't like how it looked darker and less saturated, so i left it
