Just because text language SUCKS!!! ^^It's really annoying... you can't read a thing they say... *sighs* patheticness...
Well... if you use it I won't like rant about you using it I just don't like it in general... though I'm pretty much used to reading it by now *sighs*

I hardly use text language, only on my phone because emojis don't work off the phone on deviantart. You can't call me angsty just because I have the propriety to write in complete, proper, sentences.Β
I learned not to write in text speak from my mother who just happens to be a high school English teacher, dealing with "teen angst" all the time with the people who won't write in anything but text talk.

This stamp is about writing, not speaking using text speak. Regardless however you don't seem to be understanding my stances or my analogies here.
As far as my analogy goes here, laughing isn't bullying someone- text speak is more than likely not hurting someone. This especially goes for your scenario where someone isn't hurting or causing harm to anyone by saying 'LOL' every time they find something funny. There's a definitive line between being annoyed by someone and being bullied by someone.
Additionally, age should play as much of a factor here as my gender or myΒ residence - none. For all you know I could be a 20 year old manΒ in India lying about my age, it'sΒ irrelevant to theΒ argument and you really seem like you're grasping atΒ straws here.Β I'm presenting a perfectly fine counter argument to this stamp and you're the one who isn't clearly communicating by using passive aggression and ineffectively reading my comments. Albeit, I'll admit I have been judging you unfairly a bit and I'm sorry for that. My original comment is a snarky remark on how most of the people in the comment section seem like edgy teens trying to be 'not like the other kids' by not using text speak because 'they understand Shakespeare and read poetry' which was definitely a phase went through in my life. After your comment my response was again, a snarky response on how you were advocating the stamp but not using proper grammar yourself, which wasΒ admittedlyΒ a bit more hostile and passive aggressive than needed.
Furthermore, perhaps instead of just acknowledging those people you should seek to help them, learn about them or from them. Promote acceptance and understanding rather than just sticking your nose up at them and perhaps you can convince one or two to change. Even if you do not succeed you now have the knowledge to combat the next one you meet. Craving attention is part of the human condition and should not be looked down upon. Everyone needs attention, it's encoded into our brains since we were babies. Most of the time people become bitter from a lack of it, perhaps you be a part of the solution.
My life is going fine, I am on honor roll, I recently had a birthday and I am currently pursuing my hobbies and dreams. I am a nice person, but I refuse to be talked down upon when I am treating you as an equal.
