i like the light blue overtones... combined with you looking down they create a ... sadness about the photo.
headphones usually symbolize seclusion. again, fitting.
the doorway on the background is nice. without it the frame would be empty; with it it is a frame within a frame.

addition of the polaroid frame (texture is amazing) i think is so right... clean, cool+pocket-sized.

you know, i think why this is so fun to look at, is because the hues and lightness corrospond with the makeshift border make by the polaroid. it might be more interesting to me, to put some kind of small text (really small) somewhere on the white part of the polaroid, in the fashion of your "book of -" series. i advise you to look into richard pettibon's work, concerning that. you can probably find him on google. nice work jesse.

Aside from the light/colouring, which I really like, I also admire the fact that it's such a simple photograph, yet holds a lot of emotion. It's a wonderful shot.
