Day 8: Alright, some exciting news to get out of the way first, which I will also post about in a journal soon: I got a new body. Specifically, the Canon 6D. The weather has been cloudy and drizzly the last couple of days, so unfortunately I haven't been able to properly test it out just yet. However, I have caught up with things on the software end. 6D RAW files didn't open in CS5, so I upgraded to CS6. I've also been using Bridge vs. Finder. This means finding a new "groove" in my workflow, so you get a relatively simple image tonight

I actually have a relative who shoots cars for a living ( and does an amazing job ) but I'm a novice. Granted I've never really had anyone "model" their car for me, though that's not to say that there isn't plenty of potential on the streets of Omaha. This got my gears turning. It could be fun to shoot people's daily drivers with the composition and technical finesse of a magazine shoot I'm sure this guy had no idea that his dirty car would be featured here, but he also probably didn't notice the scrawny photographer hiding under the overpass
