Not sure if any of you have cats that do this, but this is Shadow, lounging in the dryer after the cycle finished. He really likes it in there, relaxing in the heat

Please tell me what you think!

at first i thought you took to symbolism, cause the tringle thing in the dryer made me think of some movie like Seventh Symbol or something like that ^^' then i realized it was a simple drying machine.

anyways, its a cute shot keep at it

B'aw, so cute~ > w<
My kitties aren't allowed to go in the dryer. .- .;

You give your kitties much more freedom than I do with mine. xD Mom's like "DDD8< THE HELL IS THAT CAT DOING ON THE TABLE?! -sprays water on-", While at you're house they're everywhere. @ w@;

This could be just me, but I really like the background on this.
It's an interesting pattern, that looks like it might have "mystic" importance.
Think of pentagrams, or the pyramid on the american dollar.

Just as long as you don't close the door, and hit the button.
Oh, and NEVER, EVER, microwave a cat...
I'll never make THAT mistake again...
Dogs?...maybe...haven't tried that yet.
Kidding, of course, I wouldn't microwave a cat.
I prefer Barbecue.

Cool that you noticed that! I re-edited the photo and cropped it in order to keep that pattern in there

I think that Shadow could become a nice memory if something goes wrong, which I've read isn't that uncommon. Other than that, look at the loving face looking up at you!

FramedByNature In reply to Sandy33311 [2009-06-19 16:39:11 +0000 UTC]

I doubt he would jump into the machine while there were still clothes in there. He wants it all to himself

Sandy33311 In reply to FramedByNature [2009-06-20 18:02:53 +0000 UTC]

Hehe---"all to himself"!! But, what if he's in there and someone throws towels on top of him and then turns it on? (Just kinda kidding around with you---I can't worry about every animal in the world!)

professionalamature [2009-06-19 01:03:18 +0000 UTC]

The cat will continue to love that, untill he gets shut inside the dryer and put through a cycle.. Then he will steer VERY clear of it.

FramedByNature In reply to professionalamature [2009-06-19 03:26:53 +0000 UTC]

Haha I don't think that will happen any time soon, he's pretty large so it's hard not to notice him if he's in there He can be pretty sneaky though...

My friend.. has a white cat that's been through the dryer before.. he's still hanging around, but all the more paranoid because of it.

Silleh kitteh!

Cats could make a rock look like a comfortable place to sleep. They're so talented that way.

...........and this is why we never leave the dryer door open. That and they'd probably pee in there knowing them.

LoL, well if you don't have un-neutered male cats then it won't be a problem.

I like it, but I don't like the crop, so much. I'm not into odd sizes . . .

The eyes could be sharper too.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FramedByNature In reply to TTL-Photoworks [2009-06-18 21:23:42 +0000 UTC]

I'll see what I can do about the crop.
Sharpness was a problem. The dryer was nearly pitch black inside. Had to use a shutter of 10 seconds (at ISO 800) so you could imagine that the cat moved a bit.

TTL-Photoworks In reply to FramedByNature [2009-06-18 21:32:39 +0000 UTC]

Oh, yeah. That's when you use a flash. lol

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FramedByNature In reply to TTL-Photoworks [2009-06-18 21:55:28 +0000 UTC]

Noooo I hate the flash!
I tweaked it a bit. Square crop and kept the warm colors.

TTL-Photoworks In reply to FramedByNature [2009-06-18 21:58:33 +0000 UTC]

This crop is better, IMHO.

It's amazing that the cat was so still for 10 seconds!
