Canon PowerShot SD790This shot was actually immensely difficult to get. Typically, I find reflection shots quite easy. However, I wanted the yellow flower to be lit with a blue sky in the background. As a result, my shiny camera was blinding me while taking the photos, so I was either squinting or blinking. I didn't even get the focus in this shot, but in a way, I enjoy the soft effect it produces (focused on the lashes instead of the eye itself).

The reflections are all real. Editing process is just basic contrast/color adjustments and noise removal

Amazing! I have tried eye shots, however have not been very successful. Your work overall is just wowza! You will make an excellent photographer wherever you decide to go...

No, I was using the PowerShot. Reverse macro on an eye would be... nearly impossible. I should try it!

Just used digital macro mode, which is macro mode that allows digital zooming (used to help achieve more precise focus).

The focus looks good on the eyelashes instead of the eye
its kinda of like "heres my eyelashes, oh and I have a flower reflected in my eye also

You should wash your face thoroughly, before doing these shots, because any little shmutz will show up on your skin or eyelashes.
Still faving, but just an observation that I myself discovered...
couldn't use the shots...too shmutzy.
