The second commission IΒ΄ve done in DA. This time for You are so cool man! Thanks a lot.I hope to do more commissions in the future, if you are interested, just ask me with a note.
As you can see, he is Jack Sparrow from the film Pirates of the Carribean.
Completely done it with Faber Castells color pencils.

Truly beautiful work - I am in awe!
I love using colored pencils for creating art, because they are so versatile and provide so much texture and dimension... I use Derwent's Inktense pencils a lot, but also love their Graphitint pencils, and Koh-I-Nor's woodless colored pencils. I also love pretty much any watercolor pencil, because the water solubility provides a whole other range of the color's shade to give more depth to the picture.
I've been wanting to try Faber Castell's polychromos pencils, they're just pretty pricey, and haven't been in my budget lately - I'll get around to them, though...really interested in trying out oil-based pencils that won't have that waxy look to the finish.
Did you use Faber Castell's Polychromos pencils in this piece? Or, just their regular colored pencils? That may have been mentioned in previous comments, somewhere - but, there are SO MANY comments to sort through, after a couple of pages, I thought I'd just ask 
Again, kudos on this piece, it's amazing - and if you'd please let me know what kind of FC pencils you used, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Thank you sooo much. For this piece I only used the only color pencils that I had: Faber Castells. Sincerelly I never worried about their quality, I just used them because they were the only pencils that I had LOL

It's funny how making the best of whatever we have laying around, often turns out to create something more spectacular than what would have been with the tools we actually wanted to use
I've really gotta study up on technique for colored pencils - I've seen a couple of god books on it. Your technique is FLAWLESS!!! It's just absolutely amazing that this picture was created with colored pencils, the quality is fantastic!!!
