Ooh, profound photo!
The lighting is really something in this piece. I feel you have accentuated the mood, feelings and even thoughts of the person from the way the lighting just enhances the overall expression and stance of him. I do feel you have to full view this piece to fully appreciate it, as it looks a bit unreal when you small view.
I also feel it's a bit overexposed, around some parts of his face, such as the chin and cheeks... but other than that, the contrast is cool, and the low saturation in colours make it more pensive, in a way.
