Like so many other women with whom we have worked, Samantha entered our lives only to depart as quickly as she had entered. Samantha was a friend of Katherine at some point and it was not long after we worked with Katherine for the first time that Samantha contacted us. Exotically beautiful, she reminded me of Rita Hayworth.

In 2007, Samantha became involved with JD, now a Senior Photographer and Chief Operating Officer of the House of NyghtFalcon. However much she cared about JD, she was unable to free herself from the father of her child, born to her when she was just 18. Her departure scarred JD and left a void in our work. As haunted as she was talented, Samantha settled in to "everydayness" and left her modeling career to die.

This photo was taken in Forest Lawn Cemetery in New York. Over three days, we worked with Samantha in New York and Boston. She was at her best. While JD would work with her several more times, it was the last time I would work with her.
