She was my first muse. We called her "Torment" - a name that was quite appropo.
Many have asked how we planned this and similar shoots. The answer is that we did not. We met at a designated time and place and from that first moment not a word ever passed between us. No words were ever needed.
We worked together just five times - some 10,000 photos survive. She disappeared as quickly as she had entered my life and work.
