Description
It took me some times, but here's my redesigned version of the Nymphs from Rayman Origins ! To be honest with you, although I like the idea behind their design, I wanted to try to give more personality and characteristic to differentiate each go them. So here you go !
(By the way, on a side note, I've been posting preview of this some days ago through my Patreon, there's things in advance there, go check !)

So, Headcanon and description time !

Bétilla : She is gentle, benevolent and protective, and sometime full of surprises, she's the nymph of the Primordial Forest. She's basically the one who raised Rayman after his creation. She have a vast knowledge of the Glade of Dream, and know almost every creatures, vegetation and other thingamajig that live in it, although it sometimes happens that she confuse the names of one to another. ( She has to remember the names of everything, so it's not that easy. ) She's also a powerful witch, and know a lot of tricks. She used to teach magic to most inhabitants, including Teensies, but since one of them, became a fan of her long time foe, Mr Dark, she's more reserved about her powers.

Holly Luya (Aline Louïa in French): Passionate of music, Art History, and Tribal painting, she's the Nymph of Desert of Dijiridoows. Since she travel around an instrument filled land, she took the time to learn most them, with a personal attachment for every wind instrument, related to her power. She's slightly reserved and bit shy, showing most of her emotions through Music. She likes birds, despite the plastic skull on her head she bought in a bazar. She's also the one who teach Rayman playing guitar and piano ( although she wanted him to learn the flute, but it didn't work.)

Edith Up (Sandra Misu in French): The Nymph of Gourmet Land actually start as the Nymph of Fire and Ice, but since she mostly use her power for her recipe, so she's now called the "Gourmet Nymph". Specialized in foods, she have an obvious passion for eating, but it's not only about eating randomly, it's also how to eat properly, as she would said. From spicy to sugar, to healthy to less healthy, she knows all ! In vast quantity, sure, but still. She have a slight influence of the inhabitants of her lands, since they're all kinds of Lazy and contended, so they're usually not prepared under attack. The dragon suit on her head isn't actually made of an actual dragon, she just like to use it to hide some snacks.

Annetta Fish (Dora Dodemer in French): Nymph of the Sea of Serendipities, she's the most reserved and shy of the nymphs, and usually prefer to be alone. She is better at swimming than flying, and prefer spending most of her time in the sea. She's also the only nymph that have the capacity to breath under water and can control the waves. She claims to not eat fish, but since she lives near a fishing port, she may or not eating them. She's slightly touchy about her apparence, and get easily upset for a yes or for a no. Surprisingly, she often hang out with Edith, despite their contrast behavior and personalities.

Helena Handbasket (Ambre Ecueil in French): Elder and leader of the nymphs, she's the oldest members of the groups. She reside in a temple at the top of Mystical Pique. Wise and kind hearted, she probably have the deepest knowledge about the Glade of Dreams and its secrets. She usually fly beyond the clouds, to see the constellations. She's deeply respected by her sisters, and when they're confronted to a situation that even Betilla couldn't find any solution, Helena is usually the one with the answers. On a side note, she's a bit stressed when the others aren't around, and despite her obvious loneliness, she really enjoy company.

Mama Voodoo (Fée de la Mort in French) : Mama Voodoo, or affectively called "Voovoo" by her sisters, is the youngest members of the group. Quite in the edgy phase, she prefer reside in the cave of the Land of the Livid Dead, although she used to be assigned to the Plains of the Land. Quite grouchy, with a huge passion for darkness and nightmares, she's probably the nymph to trust the less. Not because she's evil, she's actually a cinnamon roll when you know her well, but she also took pleasure to tricks the hero. It often gets her in problems, including being transformed in a monstrosity, or trapped in a volcano. She used to have weird obsession for Rayman and was jealous to not be more implicated with him in the past, being too young to actually giving good advise. She's now trying to be close to Raymesis, and try to make him her own Rayman. Judging by his mischievous behavior, she either still have a lot of work to do, or she's actually doing her job really well.
