When I first saw this image in my inbox I was captivited by the colors and especially by the color gradient in the background. The contrast between the warm and the cold color brings a lot of tension into the image and in the center of it is the flower. The sharpness is really well set. Little details are recognizeable. Very well executed is also the bokeh effect. So the viewers attention is directly drawn to the bloom. The composing is very well done too. The square format is very static, but the flower is set a bit out of the center so the static format is neutralized and it doesnt look boring. The only thing that bothers me a bit respectively i am not that sure about is the cloesd bloom in the background. I feel like it acts a little bit distracting. But anyway - this piece is an awesome example of great flower photography.
