Why would the face get messed up ;/ its a doll (i obviously don't know a lot about dolls i wanted to know because i was planning on getting one )

These particular dolls are unique in the fact that faces are optional when ordering. You can order the doll with a default face or no face at all and create your own face or pay someone to do create a face (called a "faceup") for you. The eyelashes are also applied. Generally water doesn't harm the face but many times the glue that is used to apply the eyelashes may not hold if it gets wet. Here's a link to a photo I took of faces that are blank >>>> [link]

I keep their faces from getting wet. The biggest problem is the eye lashes. The elastic needs to dry out so I usually take them apart and clean them up after a shoot like this but it's not always necessary.
