I'm always wondering what you're actually thinking when you draw things like this one above. I mean... Do you consider this creature to be someone? An actual person and it's circumstances? Or this is just purely aesthetics mixed with fantasy?

It depends on the piece, really, but for the most part I'm going with a certain emotion or idea that I want to personify through the being itself.Β

Yes that's more or less what I usually do. Some pieces are more complex scenes, and have a bit more of a narrative to them. Usually the single figures and simpler ones are inspired from strong emotions or concepts I feel I want to convey.
