These are tedious, yes, but they help me get an idea of how much progress I’ve made since joining this site, and allow me to just take a moment to reflect on my art.
By far I feel as if my biggest flaw as an artist is that I have no real direction, if that makes sense - yes, it’s good to have some variety and diversity in your art, but think about what makes great artists so GREAT. They tend to have a trademark theme, style, palette, mood, characters, storyline/franchise, etc. At the moment, I don’t really have my own “trademark” developed yet. Everything in my gallery feels very random and uncoordinated, and that’s because it is. Hopefully I can spend the duration of 2022 trying to find my direction and art and really make a mark here.
