Description A Galactic Republic AT-TC (All-Terrain Troop Crawler) delivers Clone Commander Wolffe and his Clone Commando strike team behind enemy lines to spearhead the assault into Separatist occupied territory...

The Troop Crawler is the largest ground-assault vehicle in the Republic's arsenal: the same size as a Sandcrawler, with the armor and firepower of an AT-TE. Regardless of terrain and hostile ground forces, this mobile command center will deliver troops and equipment straight to the heart of any battlefront.

The AT-TC is my own custom creation and is a work in progress (updated June 2014). More photos and details coming soon!

Update October 2014: NOMINATED 'BEST SET BUILD' at the LEGO STAR WARS GOLDEN BRICKIES AWARDS 2014. You can see my Award along with my nominated entries, winning entry and a link to the awards event video at the bottom of this description.

this thing is massive! i'm just curious how much weapons this thing has. Like i know it's a troop transport, but it looks to have some heavy armor and defenses too.

I like to think that Jawas claimed abandoned AT-TCs and they went on to become Sandcrawlers.

Can you make an instruction manual? cuz i want one . . . I realize I'm not the 1st person who's asked that but it has been 3 years since the last person who asked, also even if its not done people could edit their own version of the instructions on certain websites and resubmit it you to help its construction along. my only real practicality comment being that that thing looks way taller than the at-te, so how would it be sent to the surface? I'm not sure an acclamator's ramp would be large enough to accommodate something of that weight, and it would take 2 or 3 drop ships to carry it down. Oh and one more thing, the at in at-tc stands for all terrain, and all republic walkers with that name take it very seriously. The at walkers have magnetized feet that allow them to latch onto the hulls of ships in the vacuum of space mid combat and climb vertical walls, i have a hard time imagining your juggernaut 2.0 doing either of those things. So maybe there could be a new name/acronym, like maybe trench breaker (for its ability to roll over trenches and heavily fortified areas and deposit troops) or d-dat (deep deployment armored transport). But take it as nothing more than constructive criticism, i love the tank

Thank you = really glad you like it! I don't have instructions... I just made it up as I was building, then rebuilt bits until I was happy with it. The base and track assemblies are pretty much the same as the Sandcrawler set, then above that I just kept trying different builds until I got that classic Sandcrawler shape with the front door and drivers windows.

I'm not sure about getting it down to a planet surface... the Republic Dropship can handle the AT-TE and AT-OT no problem, but yeah, maybe it is too big. The Empire have the Imperial Assault Carrier which can handle AT-ATs, so whatever ships the Republic have in the same class. Your name ideas are really cool... I just stuck with the 'AT' and 'Crawler' as I wanted to keep the name (like the design) as Star Wars-y as possible

It's a shame Clone Wars was canceled 3 years ago, it would have been cool if it made an appearance.

What this needs now is a Saving Private Ryan moment. Several of these troop crawlers driving forward under Droid artillery barrage. You hear rattling on the doors. The light inside is red. Suddenly. Green light. The Bombay doors open and a wave of Droid laser fire kills several of the first batch of troops, but the clones continue charging out.

franklando In reply to Killershrew123 [2015-03-30 17:44:39 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that was pretty much the idea behind it. I couldn't afford to get the AT-OT or the Sandcrawler sets when they came out so I built this out of spare bricks to cheer myself up!

The AT-OT and Dropship look super awesome, the only thing not awesome about the set is it's price.

franklando In reply to Killershrew123 [2015-03-30 21:32:38 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it was a great set and I thought about getting it a lot... the main reason I didn't (apart from the price) was that it wouldn't fit on my display shelves!
