Update October 2014: WINNER: 'BEST PICTURE' at the LEGO STAR WARS GOLDEN BRICKIES AWARDS 2014. You can see my Golden Brickie Award along with my other nominated entries and a link to the awards event video on the official LEGO Youtube channel here fav.me/d839r0qGirls’ night in at the Jedi Temple… Luminara Unduli, Barriss Offee, Ahsoka Tano, Aayla Secura and Shaak Ti spend some quality time together discussing their favorite make-up, accessories, Starfighters, Force moves and Lightsaber techniques.
I really wanted to take a shot of all my female Jedi Knights together after hearing other people in the LEGO community complaining about the lack of female minifigures and girl-orientated sets - because if there's one thing the Star Wars universe isn't short of, it's strong female characters! The title 'Ladies Knight' was inspired by the song of the same name by Kool and the Gang (and yes, I was singing it while I was taking the photo!)

Awesome = it's a fantastic ship. Just a shame you don't get a body and legs for the astromech with it... I eventually got the new version of the astromech that came with the mini Jedi Starfighter and Kamino planet set

I'm actually going as far as calling that my personal favourite Attack of the Clones set. And there's something I love about the Obi-Wan Figure in it. He dosen't have any very rare pieces exept the head, but there's just something I love about this figure.
And Yes, R4 Did have a new Body in the Mini Kamino set, but also in Lego Star Wars: The Video Game, even though the version from that Game is heavily based on the one in this Set.

Also, I Like the Red EP II-Starfighter in the Background.

I'm sure they will do the movie versions eventually. Most of my Jedi figures are from the Clone Wars... I got a lot more Star Warsy enjoyment out of watching the series than I did the prequels. Yeah, the Jedi Starfighter is an awesome set... both of these starfighters were really hard to find in the stores for some reason

Yeah, just like the real world, being badass shouldn't be exclusive to male characters = all these characters get a lot of screen time and action in the awesome Clone Wars animated series!

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! The lightsaber's are done in Photoshop layers, here is the super-simple tutorial I originally worked from which I found here on deviantART [link] - I only learnt how to do it a few months ago

I am not a fan of the Clone Wars series of minifigs, but unfortunately it is the only place to get Secura and Shaak Ti... That I know of.

Yeah, I know what you mean - I didn't get too excited about them myself at first, mainly because it seemed like yet another variation to mess up my collection = yellow minifigs, fleshtone minifigs, then Clone Wars minifigs... but I'm really fond of them all now and the Clone Wars series is truly epic!

Haha, never fear my friend = I've now got the exclusive 'Celebration' Han and Luke minifigs from the Lego Visual Dictionary and Character Encyclopedia (complete with their medals)... so expect an epic Lego recreation of A New Hope's final shot sometime soon!
