Sry for the delay in answering your question...
this painting started off one late evening, and as I was waiting for the first layers to dry I kept looking at it, but something was missing, then about 2 days later It struck me..The waterfall.. and so I began to put in the finishing touches along with the waterfall and other landscape features such as the tree, and shrubs. So you might say a total of 3 days from start to finish
