The descendent of a beloved king who uses her unrivaled intellect and knowledge of history to assist her kingdom's allies in fighting back against an ancient evil.

Believe it or not, these characters (and the synopsis of my graphic novel) were born from a lesson plan I used while I taught introductory French during my time as a graduate student. To help students practice conjugating past-tense verbs in the perfective and imperfective aspects, I wrote short stories featuring these characters and asked students to conjugate each verb depending on the aspect of each sentence. My students had a lot of fun with these stories, so, eventually, I decided to draw each these characters. A year later, I've got several chapters of lore and backstory written for this world and hope to develop it as a video game once it's fully realized.
