Great colours and a very dynamic scene. You are a JoJo fan, I take it?

Excellent. I watched the anime (looking forward to starting Part 3 soon), but the only manga I have read is Part 7. Have you read them all?

Ohh part 7, I'm afraid I didn't make it that far, I'm on part 4, it's really good, perhaps even better than 3, which is magnificent! About Stardust Crusaders anime, it's already out! It's currently 5 episodes long, with a new release every friday and it's very faithful to the manga.

I am going to Japan next week, and plan to watch it while I am there (more enjoyable to watch and then be able to go out and buy the merchandise). I have been saving the episodes.

I read a lot of Part 3, but eventually gave up and figured I would just watch the anime... I really enjoyed Part 7 and would recommend it. I hope the anime gets that far.

This is a really nice piece of fanart. Digitally painted?

Thank you! I am going for a holiday. My Japanese is OK for some conversation, but far from fluent.

Do you use this SAI ? I have not come across it before (just Googled now).

Interesting. I shall have a play with it at some point (though I do not have much talent with painting of any kind).

I can get by in Japan OK. As with learning any language, I understand more than I can speak, but it is fun trying. When I bought Steel Ball Run the shop assistant was really excited a foreigner was buying JoJo's and wanted to talk about it.

The UK would love to have you. Argentina sounds pretty nice to me, especially looking outside and seeing all that rain...

Haha, I try to imagine the situation, it must have been cool. JoJo is not very known outside of Japan and it's a good manga.

Oh yes, I would love to go and travel all around Europe, unfortunately argentinian goverment has become very restrictive in terms of adquiring international money, wether it's dollars or euros, also our coin is incredibly weak to exchange. I think the only possibility would be through an scholarship (I graduate as a biotechnologist in a few days). Argentina has some nice places to visit, specially in the south part of the country, like Bariloche, it's beautiful there and very turistic. I'm afraid it also has awful overpopulated cities with a lot of crime, and I happen to live in one of them ;/

Euskelo In reply to FrankMR [2014-05-08 19:26:22 +0000 UTC]

Congratulations on your impending graduation! Perhaps you can get a job in a nicer city? A scholarship would also be excellent, so good luck with that. I am surprised to hear it is difficult to exchange money there. I wonder why the government has done it? Are they so afraid of people going on holidays abroad? Strange.

I did not have the heart to tell that shop assistant I can hardly read the manga and mostly just look at the pictures... I did admit to watching the anime, though.

Thank you very much!! I'm attempting to get a job, so far no luck, but I'll look more into it (there's no jobs available where I live so I have to move anyways), my dream has always been to travel the world! Some of my favourite places are Canada, a big part of Europe (it's so hard to choose just one country), Australia and New Zealand!
Oh brother, the local goverment... it's a bit topic and I'm afraid of even talking about it, let's just say it's not a good goverment and it's very punishing with its people, to the point I hardly feel reason to stay here save for my family and friends, the other reason is so far I don't have a clue how to move outside (but today I got my passport just in case).

Oh I see, well you manage to tell him you like the anime, which is actually really good, part 3 is great!

Euskelo In reply to FrankMR [2014-05-08 21:13:13 +0000 UTC]

Glad to hear 3 is good. Parts 1 and 2 were fantastic, and really capture the manga well (as far as I can tell without actually having read those books).

You have a great future ahead of you, I am sure. So much potential. No reason you cannot see all the places you want to visit! Biotechnology sounds like an exciting area, and one that could get you work in a great many countries.
