One shutters to imagine what is in side the forest that Chao are sent away to when you select "good bye" on the transporter. i always assumed that they were immediately devoured by carnivores or something like that (which is why i only use it for certain occasionsΒ

I hate it when they b***h and whine for fruit, especially when there's some fruit right next to them or if you've just given them some.
Oh and I can't stand ones that just whine and whine every 10-15 minutes, so I chuck them in the transporter machine and select Good Bye.Β
Yeah go and live in the forest and fend for yourself if you're not grateful for what I do for you.....you ungrateful whiny little brat!

me too, mine don't whine much I am always getting them Chao fruit which fills them up, I cuddle them, pick em up and make sure they have full swimming stamina so they don't drown, I love them, I keep a register of their names and have lots of memory cards full of gardens and chao, I have been raising them 13 years now and still love to play with them. The secret is in Chao fruit and picking them up and cuddling them lots I think. I havn't had a grey cocoon now in 10 years and have one on life cycle 8 now. I don't get many of them crying like that, they get fed lots. Chao babies I love them all.

don't get me wrong, i love my chao, and do what i can to take care of them. the only time is use the transporter is when the chao has a Crybaby Personality, because they are a pain to raise and utterly useless at racing (which is what i raise my chao for)

oh cry baby types are fine, you just feed them and cuddle them and they never cry, poor things got rid of because they cry. I just love to nuture them, they're babies.

yeah, but they are useless for racing and nothing i ever do seems to please them, so i don't see them as worth keeping around compared to other personalities

I find that the personality changes each time I take them to the docs, sometimes it says cry baby but mine rarely cry as I am always petting them, picking them up, feeding them chao fruit and getting them animals and crystals, I have some who are racers those with the S or A stamina and the others are like little pets , I go round the garden and pick em all up, pet em and feed em, they only cry when they want a chao fruit so seeing as I feed them often that rarely happens, yeah I am soppy and love mine, I couldn't get rid of any of them. Wish I could have your chao that you don't love I feel sad for them, chucked into the forest. waaaaaa. I also find you can raise their stamina by feeding them lots of chao fruit and Β getting their stats up before their blue cocoon. I am glad to say I have not a grey cocoon in 11 years now. Been raiasing them 14 years.

Also, it is not the Stamina i worry about, it is Intelligence and Luck. Those two stats do not go up for Crybabies no matter what you do, so you can't decrease the chance of them tripping or being stupid when they have to figure out which fruit they need to pick during the races requiring good intelligence stats.

I don't notice that problem, they sometimes might be a cry baby and next time they go to the docs they are something else like a big loads of races as well, I think its the forest where they go when you say goodbye to them but i never part with mine.

one time, one of my chao was doing this... while surrounded by literally all the fruit i could find to see if it would eat it.
