First painting of 2016.Finished the game a few days ago.
One of my favourite games so far and it was the first game to make me cry.
...
I was about to abandon this painting halfway through. After the initial sketch I couldn't decide how the background would look.
So I threw some yellow, reds, and blues. Took a step back and it looked like a puke of colours.
I stopped working on it for a while.
But the sketch was good and I did not want to waste it, so I tried to make it work.

I really actually like it, even the colors behind. The picture as a whole is very artsy and it's good to experiment with colors. Alot of people would start with only a few colors most of the time complementary or cold/warm tones. It's a hard thing to break out of...but! when you start branching into lots of colors, pictures such as this one start to really look alot more...appreciatory or experienced. Art wise.

Yes, I've been stuck using black and white for far too long. Hardly using color. It was hard to break out of.
So, I guess it's best that I don't get into the habit of using a specific color scheme as well.
Lol. I didn't really think I could also get stuck with color. So thanks for the heads up.
