Description
Continuing for the demo process accompanying a student project at FZD based on William Gibson's novel ‘Mona Lisa Overdrive’.
Next step for my hidden, temporary black clinic: 3D block-out. For this I started with the surgeon's exosuit, since the size and mass of that thing needed to fit into the environment. So why not go the other way round and design the environment around it in the first place. I decided to change the design to be more comfortable for the doctor operating. Even though surgeons in reality stand for hours around an operating table this felt a bit prehistoric. Since sitting on the other hand felt too casual, I opted for a gyro stabilized kneeling based device that provides mobility and comfort, plus of course the possibility of some more stabilized multi tool arms to provide steady hands plus all the tools of a full blown surgical team.
