Phew, I finally finished this after months of working on it!First time trying to draw and color sunflowers so lol, it looks a little funny
Anyway this is a gift drawing I made for Hyanna of her OC, Chiye.

Yea, people when know that you like manga they think that you spend whole time watching cartoons, I don't even watch anime ( i don't like it XD ) and don't read mangas, i just like drawing in this style XD
And the worst point is that when someone ask about my hobby and i cannot say anything because i only play games, watch gameplays, draws and chating with friends XD

Okay so for comment 1 I chose this piece. I LOVE the colors and vibrancy. I honestly hae absoulty nothing to complain about on this piece or advise lol. The face is cute, I love the blush! I believe the flowers worked well and the vibrancy man...I cant get past it! lol

It looks very beautiful. I like how you drew her hair, all shades of pink are combined really nicely and the ponnytails seems to curl really naturally.

I like the sunflowers too, she likes yellow stuff, so I'm very sure she would be happy being surrounded by sunflowers!

Hi hyanna XD I'm glad you liked this. The line art work took so much time, i had to do it twice O_O I also had to do a lot of readjustments, i realize that it's a little harder to get the proportions balanced when drawing a tilted drawing.
Thank you so much for the kind feedback. I didn't know she liked yellow XD It was a good thing to choose sunflowers, besides, the color yellow works well with her pink hair and torquise(?) shirt. You really choose colors so well! U gotta tell me your secret!

Heehee, nice! (Honestly, you know how to pull off those expressions and big eyes, you really capture that truly authentic cute anime feel.) The bright colors fit so perfectly, and I love the soft blush on the skin. (Great job on the sunflowers, they look great. I know from experience how hard flowers of all kinds can be to pull off sometimes. x3)
Oh, and this is a small thing, but I like how you went for a transparent layer as the background, eliminating the border. (Do you achieve that by uploading it as a png file? Or is it another file type you use?) I think that really works for this piece, it has a more open, free feeling than if you'd placed this on the normal, plain white background.

Thank you Axxonu! I'm glad it looked fine XD It took me so long to finally be satisfied with how it looks. I've been told that the expressions in the characters i draw have been too similar, i realize I haven't really shown a wide range of emotions in my drawings since i was too focused on getting the drawing right and the colors lol.
Yes, it's a png file ^^
a big white background may look good with the colors but it would feel constricted and boxed if i added it, so i went with a transparent layer instead.
