Some of you may notice me ranting on about my slow speed in drawing and I'm happy from the encouragement you have all given me. In order to relax a bit, I did this 20-minute doodle of Rem from the anime Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu. An anime I just finished watching yesterday!
I've been wanting to draw Rem for a while now. I think she's really cute and sweet. I prefer her over Emilia though I think she deserves someone better than Subaru. I can't totally ship SubaruxRem since I don't like Subaru (I watched the show on mute because I can't stand his irritating voice). While I think the show is corny and overly dramatic, I did enjoy watching it and look forward to every twist in the story!
P.S: I'm still working on my art trade and collabs, they will take some time to finish! Don't worry, i didn't forget >w<

I really like this sketchy drawing of Rem! She is with Subaru my favorite character from this show.
Her expression is so fitting for her and you chose the colors very well! A happy Rem makes me happy, too

Yeah Rem is a beauty! She's a wonderful girl, so sweet and cute and yet she can be brutal when she wants to protect those she cares for. It's a great combination.

Yes, I do. I know that many people can't stand him, but to me he was an absolutely honest, real, authentic and believable character. I mean, what he had to go through... I would have lost my mind, too! He has his flaws, but he still is just a human and therefore I really love him. For not being your generic super cool hero. ^^
I just hate him for always putting Rem second... Cause Emilia doesn't value his effort and feelings and Rem therefore has to suffer... sad... but I totally agree with you about Rem! She is amazing and any person couldn't feel much more honored if she cared about them like she does about Subaru!
Ah, I see, haha. So they're just like a background pattern ^^ Well, Winter is coming, so I guess it fits ;D

Well... He's a bit like Naruto and may often do reckless things. Though he has admirable moments like showing selflessness and careful thought, always caring about other people. Is it me or does Subaru gets easily attached? LOL
I still can't stand him though, I put the video on mute because his voice irritated me. That doesn't mean he's a terrible character, but you know, we all have our preferences.
I agree with you completely regarding him putting Rem second. Subaru-baka! That's what Ram would often say.

Nah. There are only certain manga I read. For the rest, I just get the anime. Unless there is a chapter that won't be made into the series. The manga has to continue, because everyone is more than curious about what Subaru, the most mentally realistic character in all of anime, will do next lol. They also have to pick a new ruler, but then I don't think a sequel will come out because Subaru already confessed (to the wrong girl in my opinion

They're an okay pair I suppose, but too plain or boring if I'd be honest. No spark! No chemistry! At least, in my opinion

It's my personal opinion that Rem was better, considering how much more she cares about the guy than Emilia. The moment he continued chasing Emilia for romance was the moment I gave it a face-palm lol. I didn't watch if for the romance anyway as I prefer action, but I think he should've chose Rem. Not sure who agrees with that.
