2016 has and hasn't been a good art year. i did make some art i'm really proud of and some that i'm not really proud of, but still i'm satisfied and unsatisfied at the same time. it was indeed a year of ups and downs, and i really only want 2017 to be made of UPS and few downs, because they're always there somehow. like i said on the previous art summary, it's all about listening to sonic playlists and keep running steady & forward.

i really should have drawn more but my head wasn't in the right place, but this year, this 2017 will be good. stuff has happened and i got a bit reclusive but hey, it's all about finding myself and my art is probably helping me on that.

HERE'S TO A GOOD YEAR!

January - Jamie - i made this one for a steven universe collab which unfortunately didn't post my drawing... HAHAHAH however it was one of the drawings i'm proudest of, because THAT TOOK TIME (not much) AND PLANNING. and truly i just LOVE Jamie, one of my ultimate fave characters!

February - Hamilton - it's just INCREDIBLE how hamilton really helped me put up my art out there, like, people still find those drawings until today, i'm just in awe! i loved doing this one and always cackle when i'm listening to the songs reminding of my weird ideas, that people seem to like! <3

March - Raimundo Pedrosa - another one of my faves, i actually had some other good drawings in march but this one... whenever i draw raimundo pedrosa is like my world is all good again. he is the best character in the world, i just love him so much. y'all should watch xiaolin showdown.

April - Hadley Fraser's B'Day! - well, HAHAHAH. that's a classic, innit? hadley fraser is the bestest and he deserves everything, that's pretty much all i have to say about this guy. this time i made a drawing based on how many drunk characters he played throughout his career and i'm sensing another one coming to the party...

May - Rosalie Craig's B'Day! - rosie's another classic, i always love to draw her, she is marvellous, she is just the bomb. a complete artist and an incredible woman. i'll be drawing more this year i hope. :'D

June - Frank & Claire - oh boy. this one took such a long time, like, i just wanted to make it perfect and i still haven't posted it yet (01/01/17) because i still might correct something... i got to discover house of cards this year in march and i just got swollen by the power that kevin spacey and robin wright bring to that show. it just got consumed and it's one of my favourite shows of all time, that has one of my favourite pairings of all time as well. that show really helped me out A LOT!

July - Poke Bird - this year i took part in a lot of pokémon collabs! soooooooooo, yeah. i only drew bird pokémons because I JUST LOVE BIRDS SO MUCH THEY'RE PERFECT DINOSAURS WHO ARE PRECIOUS AND DESERVE EVERYTHING AND AIM TO THE SKY.

August - Preacher - - my good good friend cindy had her birthday three days after i had mine and since we're awesome friends, i had to do something for her. she loves the show preacher so HEY. BAM.

September - Torchic, the Fire Bird. - this year i took part in a lot of pokémon collabs! soooooooooo, yeah. and torchic and his evolutions are my favourite pokémons and i just HAD to draw, especially because they're a fire bird.

October - The Flash - - october was THE MONTH. it's always has been for two years because of INKTOBER which i take part every year now, it always make me better at ink and traditional drawings! i just love this month so much because of this and obviously, HALLOWEEN!

November - Miles - - this month was kind of bad, i couldn't draw anything because of bad days and art blocks, but somehow in the beginning i drew my new OC, miles. whose story i'm planning to draw. :3

December - Diretor Krennic - okay so i saw rogue one last week, and... well. i loved it, of course. but then i started watching some interviews and i tripped on ben mendelsohn's cute laugh and fell in love with him, and as a consequence, director orson krennic. i still don't know how or why, but i'm really really really enjoying it. really enjoying all of this. so it was my choice for last drawing of the year, which i finished two hours before 2017 came.

that was my art-year, i'm still torn if it was good or not. it's better if i just let go, right? to better days and a better year!
