ARRRRRR.
Grantaire is such a fascinating character. He's the one that made me cry the most when I went to see Les Mis live in Nagoya. Okay I actually cried the entire thing but I remember an intense amount of tears running down my face. But talking about HADLEY, I gotta say he's my fave Grantaire just by the fact he says "Don Juan" correctly. KIDDING HAHAH No, he's a great Grantaire, my fave indeed as you might think and I love his "Drink With Me". His scenes with Ramin!Jolras are priceless, even though they're totes not canon at all, but hey. I really thought the two were best friends when I saw for the first time, well oops.

I loved how the pose here worked out, especially the arms. In the big big drawing , you can see his bottle arm is down, it's because it would be in front of Jamie's face and Jamie didn't deserve that. NOW HE CAN RAISE UP HIS BOTTLE WITH PRIDE! The clothes make me amazingly happy, since I've always drawn Grantaire and messed up with that ribbon thing I still don't understand. His expression is really exagerated maybe but that's why I love it too, bc I'm obsessed with expressions. Huzzah.

For the BG I made the movie one because of reasons, and I wanted to draw him on a table. I liked how the candle went out there. And the table. I don't draw tables often.
