*james bond theme*ruby: yang xiao long! prepare for battle! *jumps out from hallway and starts firing nerf darts*
*yang kicks chair to block the incoming nerf darts and as the chair falls she aims her nerf gun at ruby and shoots*
ruby: AHHHH! NOOOO! have you no heart!?
yang: nice try little sis, but you definitely still have a long way to go to beat me
neptune: uhhh, aren't libraries for reading?
ren: thank you!
nora: *points nerf gun at ren* pew pew
I really have no idea why I drew this or what the "punchline" is....... I guess seeing neptune covered in nerf darts could it. but ultimately I really have no clue.
I have no clue how ruby can shoot some many nerf darts when clearly her gun only has one dart in it, and why neptune is covered with 20+ nerf darts when ruby seemingly only shoots around 10 or so darts in panel 3, Β also I can't explain how neptune has darts stuck to his back when ruby is only shown to shoot at him(or yang) from the front. nor can I explain why is it that only neptune is covered in darts and not ren or nora.
plus I don't think these are called nerf guns or nerf darts but that's the first thing that pops into mind, if any of you know the correct term plz let me know in the comments, other than that not much else to say, hope you guys enjoy it and till next time.

You know, when I think of somebody parodying that scene from vol 2 ep 2 I was expecting more of a Yugioh reference, I mean, it already kind of does that in cannon, but oh well, this is still a funny alternative.

I actually don't remember why I drew this one instead of referencing yugioh...maybe my parents were watching mission impossible or something and an image of ruby sneaking around with a gun popped into my head.

People, she would have hit yang if there was never a table. She shot from probably the max distance those guns will allow and hit a surprise table that is (unsurprisingly) faster than small foam darts. And yang got a headshot from two feet away. Anyone can get a headshot from two feet away. So stop saying Ruby's more competent than portrayed here because she is. Stop saying that she is worse than Yang because she isn't. Blame the weapon and the circumstance, because if you could kick a table that fast in a nerf war you'd be unstoppable

lol the "table" you're talking about is suppose to be a chair, but meh, I was never really good at drawing props.
and you of course have a point there, but I'm sure that most ppl who read my comic know that my interpretations of the rwby characters and scenario I put them in are a "bit" exaggerated.
