I made a thing.

This took quite a long, long while, but I'm quite proud of this one, despite a few errors here and there with the uniform positioning and whatnot. This is the best I can do as far as drawing and painting goes, digitally. :3 I know some of you are asking about the Edelweiß insignia displayed on my uniform, and in this fan-art of her. Well, I will do my best attempt to explain it here if anyone is wondering...

From Wikipedia :

"The Edelweiss flower was the symbol of Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS Gebirgsjäger, or mountain rangers, worn as a metal pin on the left side of the mountain cap, on the band of the service dress cap, and as a patch on the right sleeve. It is still the symbol of the Mountain division in the German army today."

So, that being said, it seems like Rip would be a Gebirgsjäger, according to said insignia on her cap. And as said above, she would also have an Edelweiß patch on the top right sleeve of her uniform jacket. There is some debate on this, and what's in question with my uniform is the cuff title, which displays "Adolf Hitler" on it, but this was before I found out about the Edelweiß insignia and such.
Also, the pin cannot be seen here because it is placed on the left side of the garrison cap.
