Your try is an Unbelievable artwork. It left me completely speechless . . . until I red the title and sorry for being honest (since its a crime these days) but the word "realistic" is notΒ an excuse for watering down the original concept, drawing something different and then using the difference for legitimizing your own work as an "un-remarkable" work of art, "realistic" is just another word for "generic". Its cheap like hollywood remakes done to make money and kill creativity and the brain cells of its audience.
Alucard isn't a generic vampire from a hollywood film you see in a VHS tape and your "realsitic alucard" here looks more like Dr hyde with that clothing and blood pack. Infact, You can title the pic Realistic Vampire and it wouldn't make a difference.
Alucard is a cut from a different cloth and if your serious about going for realism for anime characters you have to emphasize the anime aspects above your own western style sketching. I mean seriously, this is a guy whose mantra is Β "The bird of Hermes is my name Eating my wings to make me tame" NOT "I vaants dreenkh yor bluuud".
What your "realistic" alucard lacks is a psychopathic stare hidden behind his cold eyes and a shit eating grin that has your death written all over it, Not jolly smile of meeting a new victim. Probably something like this kradeelav.deviantart.com/art/A⦠but in your own realistic touch.
Again I really like your artwork but its draw backs are its not in touch with the anime character. I suggest watching the anime Hellsing Ultimate again but recommend watching the TFS Hellsing Ultimate abridge on Youtube.

I love it. but my master wouldn't drink out of a straw (but Solid & Etc would disagree) he would bit into the bag and suck the blood out that way.
