Based on a photo of myself. I'm actually rather proud of how authentically old it looks now. No tutorials used, I just looked at a few really old photos before I started.=====

I used render-clouds and I think I remember using noise-add noise but I'm not sure about that... the border was enhanced using one of the distort or stylize filters I think, but I'm not sure about this one either... what I do remember though is that everything else was done by hand; scratches, dirt, laceration, adhesive tape and so on.

i have to say, that i know the original of that picture and the result is really amazing.
for one, the laceration and the tiny scratches look really authentic, the casts of the letters look real as well and the border is perfect!
