I really like what you did with the backgrounds, ..the smoke, those birds..
The textures are well integrated, giving this old and fairy (but not too much) aspect.
Only the boy does disturbs me a bit :/

Fantastic, just lovely little fantasy world you've created here, dark with a sad message but done in a way that it's not depressing, really brings you to another place and in doing so you realize the place we're in needs help and whoa... Ive just gone cross-eyed!

I know this is a photomanipulation... but it reminds me of a painting, and on that note! What I lvoe most about paintings, is the artists endless possibilities to say whatever they feel. I sometimes think photography is a bit limited, but then again, maybe its just my skills. poo, lovely image.

fabolous, an incredible piece, what an image you just created! I love the field as it is, not detailed and fading to the sky by a thin line on the horyzon who is not horyzontal and gives more flow to the composition.
The little child is really a strong symbolism here. and the factories behind him are so...cold...amazing piece.
