looks good. I would soften up the light rays, but otherwise, keep it up!

What I like:
-The color
-The clouds
-The way the stars clump up, it's a good execution of the Greg Martin starfield.
-The glow on the water
-The layout of the image.
What I don't like:
-I don't like the lensflares that much. They're a bit of a nuisance in digital art, as they're way overdone and easy to recognize. It's widely accepted that a lensflare in an image is amateurish. To have such a strong image, but throw a lensflare on it, just somehow eliminates any professionalism that an image could carry, so I always reccomend against doing so.
-The water itself. It's a generic terragen water texture, one that I've seen hundreds, if not thousands of times. Try for something new. Try finding another image of water on the Internet, something like crashing waves, and composite it on another layer into the image using a mask layer.
-The text at the bottom. Way too strong. It takes away from the potency of the image, and keeps detracting my eyes from it. It's a neat effect, one that could be used for a title sequence in a film. But here, you want the image to stand out, so make sure the title is subtle.
What can be done:
-I think that the color of the top 2/3 of the image needs to match with the bottom 1/3. I wouldn't affect the top though, the color on it is perfect and pristine. Try taking the bottom part, and open up the color balance. Under the shadows tab, give it a lot more blue with a twinge of green, and under the highlights, give it a warm yet subtle magenta.
-To better composite the starfield with the water, I duplicate a portion of that starfield, flip it vertically, place it over the water, add a blur, some noise, then a medium motion blur at 0 degrees. Squish down, and with the smudge tool (preferably with a spatter brush) work the reflection so it fits with the reflections of the waves. I'm not getting the same glare as it is in the sky.
-Just eliminate those lensflares completely. Especially the massive one in the middle. You've already got a moon in the sky, keep that as the focal point. Eliminating that supernova-like burst will make the image look more tame, and fix a lot of the compositting issues with it.
-Lastly, I wouldn't have so much space up there just to have space. I would put in a couple small planets, or other astronomical elements to give it some more interest.

wow, that has some depth... i like the way the sky contrasts with the landscape so much... they're like two separate pieces put together. Great impact when full viewed!
