Description Autumn Seaonal Entry for

I totally won big when the randomizer choose to partner me up with the artist for Sailor Skadi!  

For  Shade is incredible.  If you haven't seen her work, head on over there because WOW!

I had an amazing time doing this one.  A lot of fun and I just had a blast trying out new techniques.  I adores the kitty cats.

*explodes* Wow, this is just breathtaking hon!!! The composition, colors, and anatomy are of course fabulous.  But her clothes are just so wonderfully done, as is that moon and sky. They cats and that FAT LITTLE BAT are just all sorts of adorable too. Her braid and skin are just right, and That white tree cutout feel is perfect. LOVE IT!

2.  I'm so glad you liked here. 


 

  I kept her white hair (although I know it's brown when not in chibi form), because I read that she wished she could have it all the time and thought she could get away with it on Halloween.  And. . . . it popped better in the color scheme.  

3.  I thought you might like token Halloween icons to set the spirit.  And I wanted to give a little nod to Sailor Moon with a white and black kitty  (although they are NOT Luna and Artemis).

4. And Yes Yes Yes, you are incredible.  And you don't have to promise to make mine amazing, because you are making it therefore. . . dadadaduh!  Amazing.


Seriously, I wanted to show my appreciation for you always commenting on my artwork, acknowledging me in LS, and generally being the doll that you are.  You may not consider those big things, but for someone just getting into the DA social scene. . it means a lot.

Tee hee, the white hair looks great! It definitely works with the colour scheme~  I can totally picture her transforming, taking off her sailor uniform and changing into a costume for Halloween (She could pass her unusual hair colour off to her mother and other people who don't know she's Skadi as it just being a wig :>)

 

I love the token Halloween icons!  It's a really good nod to Sailor Moon too~

I love the composition on this and the negative-space trees that frame Skadi.  The colors on her witch costume are great too--fun and totally Halloween!

I worked really hard on the composition and trying to figure out how to add more without cluttering.  ((millions of thumbnail sketches latter. . )), so I appreciate that my hard work and internal process didn't go unnoticed. I really could freaking cry over here JUST because you mentioned it at all!!  I KNOW the colors are overdone for Halloween and not very original, but I think they work for the traditional Halloween tokens, so thank you again.

Your hard work really shows through!  The colors didn't seem overdone to me either, they look like just the right colors for Halloween.
