Description I have changed the boat to a red one at the front as I felt it looks better with a red rather than a blue one which I felt sank into the background.
The original one is here: fredasurgenor.deviantart.com#/…

This painting is Windsor and Newton mixed media: Watercolour and Acrylic on 300 gsm Arches stretched watercolour paper. Image size: 26 x 49 cm

Thank you all so much for the kind comments, faves and watches, I really appreciate these.

I love the reflection of the bricks onto the water in the back, and the boat onto the waves as well.I also like the shadow of the chain onto the red boat. All the details are so great!

Thanks so much Dave and for the
I am much happier with it now. It was hanging in a local exhibition
and I asked a friend of mine why it looked so weak.
She showed me how the blue boat was blue against a blue background.
Sometimes it's hard to see the weak points in one's own work
and one needs help

Yes, I did when I saw the photos, but................I had punched it up on Photoshop
and it looked much stronger on here than the actual painting did.
