Description I was inspired by the Michael Bay films where his characterization there was so badass, kinda like the Autobot's version of Dirty Harry, which i absolutely liked. His weapon is a double barreled shotgun and he has shoulder mounted cannons to make him worthy of being Optimus Prime's second in command. ( And rightfully so, in my opinion.)

Thanks, John Paul. I really wanted him to look more tough and worthy of being Prime's second in command guy.

My pleasure I kind of agree I think he needed a bit more toughness design in G1 but his voice lended him that toughness.
