This prank war reminds me of the psychological warfare of "Slapsgiving" on the TV show, "How I met your Mother". I can't remember the episode number but if you get a chance its a great show.

This particular comic, especially at the end one reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Bart and Homer get into a prank war with George Bush Sr.
In particular, when the two glue a rainbow wig to Bush's head and he has to give a lecture with the base still on.
