Tommy and Ricky were more than happy because Arthur Read was going to read them a story!It all started when the school principal decided that some third grade students at Lakewood Elementary School would read stories to the first grade students, Tommy and Ricky are in that first grade!!!!
And Arthur Read was chosen to read them the story!
And as the Arthur's theme song says ... "What a wonderful kind of day",that day was unforgettable and wonderful for Tommy and Ricky!

Some fan-fics were simply horrid. Such as Buster going postal or those twins setting off a series of events that destroy the Read family .
Somehow most of this comment was scragged to thunder !
Be it that the show has had 22 seasons, I've seen very few TV episodes. The one where D.W. reads to the two incorrigible twins to stop them from digging foxholes in the lawn !(Fortunantly,the man who fell in was understanding & forgiving.).
Unable to read ,D.W. makes up a wild mad story about Arthur being a shape-changer and Buster a giant ROBOT ! D.W. has to enlist her imaginary friend and super-hero help to stop Arthur !

I haven't kept up with Arthur for a long time, but I am also surprised it's still going.
This time of the year, I'd watch episodes of "Are You Afraid of the Dark?", and a few years back I was surprised that Francine's voice actress played one of the main members of the Midnight Society, named Kiki. And like Francine, she's a tomboy.
Not only that, the voice actors of Mr. Ratburn and Mr. Crosswire have played characters in some of the ghost stories that are told.

Aqui en Puerto Rico lo transmitian tanto en espano como en ingles,desde el 1996 y aun lo siguen dando,es tan popular como los Simpsons y tienen casi los mismos años de edad!Y si te das cuenta al igual que Los Archies el de los comics,estos personajes nunca saldran de la escuela,a peasr que pasen un monton de años!!!Jaaa,jaaa!Gracias por tu comentario mi amigo!!!!

Ok! Jejejejejejejejejeje! En Colombia tenemos algo similar, todos los fines de semana en uno de nuestro canales nacionales dan siempre ese anime de "Cuentos de los hermanos Grimm" desde que tengo memoria, y después dan Chespirito, en otro dan El Chavo, esas competencias absurdas de los canales nacionales.
