Alone is a very sad life, lonely tears never go away.When I look at him that day, he just close his eye like nothing is bothering him but once I walk away, I saw a tear slowly comes rolling down his cheek and he whisper :
I miss my son who's already work in the city & he never came back anymore....

I don't understand how his son could leave him that way, really.
I'd be more scared that I'd accidentally abandon my mother, or my father, in comparison to fearlessly purposefully doing it..

Different life in different country have different fate especially when they face economic problem.
The son may need to leave his small countryside home because he can earn some living.
When the son arrive in big city, he must be either earn better & become greedy with new life, new girls , new direction.
Or,... he may be end up more worst in big city.....end up too poor, struggling daily until need leave everything behind....

Very good photograph. This speaks a million words. It is really a shame nowadays that, people ignore their parents just because it is "not cool" to be around them anymore cuz you're "so mature" and "grown up"... and other such bullshit. I'm from India and I see people like this on the streets everywhere. And if I were to stop by each one of them and ask them how did they come to be like they are... 7 out of 10 will give me the reason that their children abandoned them.
Its a real real shame indeed.
You really captured the emotions and the 'unspoken' message is definitely being received. Its not this man alone that shed a tear. I just shed one too.
